When the family gets split up outside the stadium, they’re sent on two different journeys through the colour and excitement of a match day - meeting players, supporters and the atmosphere that makes women’s football so special - before both paths lead back to the same place: the match, and the feeling of belonging to a football community.

Along the way, the story introduces young readers to the players, clubs, fans and traditions of the women’s game. At its heart, it’s about helping families discover their own connection to football, and finding a place where they belong.
